Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

Imagine being about to cuddle up with your PC and your yearbook and make a nice trip down memory lane for yourself. Without having to spend money for the right to do so. (Hey the internet can be a nice place if you just know where to look sometimes.)

Look up old teachers that taught you the value of putting more of you into your papers. Revisit with old neighbors (the ones who would continually watch the kids when you had to pick up the other kids after sports.

Reconnect with grammar school friends you considered starting a band with.

There might be nothing better for the soul than to deliberately make a journey backwards into our past. To open doors that had been sealed shut for years upon years. These precious "goosebump" opportunities are now just waiting to happen...and the really amazing part is that you do NOT know where they could lead once you start.

I was attempting to find people for nothing the other day...after a particularly brutal day of work. I'd come home deciding that the world was not awful and that to prove THAT to myself, I was going to look up some friends from college. (Worcester, MA.)

The result: what do you think??? Laughter upon uncontrollable laughter. Memories of moments I hadn't recalled in nearly 25 years.

There are countless HOW TO books at every bookstore on the planet that talk about nurturing the soul...and for good reason...the world is tough! It's certainly harder than we ever thought it would or could become.

And what so many of these book emphasize is for us to reach back into those moments that we KNOW were great and borrow from them! Borrow the feelings we had when we were experiencing them. Re-energize by rekindling. Now there's a way to do it all online and not spend a dime doing so.

It's a powerful, spiritual process that works very, very well.

I encourage anyone feeling a bit under it all to rise above by looking back.

Find people for nothing. Find those people who touched you. And borrow some of the joy you felt when you were with them.

It's an extravagance, trust me.
