Making money on the internet is always a subject that we see daily on the internet. In fact a search on "make Money" through Google returns 104,000,000 matches. Now that is great to have so much information available on the internet, but how much of it is actually information as apposed to how much is marketing or how much is actually usable to the average person seeking to start making money via the internet.
I took some time to go through a lot of these sites (not all ) and found that in placing myself in the shoes of the average web surfer, these sites were mostly terrifying. They either immediately start with join here and there for a small fee, or go into some unknown lingo understood only really by computer geeks and boffins. Now I am definitely no computer geek or boffin, but I thoroughly enjoy surfing the net and seeing what is out there, especially if it can make me a quick buck.
Some points of note for those searching the internet. When searching a topic and viewing the search results, the results right at the top that have a beige colour background, are sites that pay to appear at the top of the search. As a result it can be generally expected that these will take you to a commercial pay for their service site.
The column on the right hand of the search is a list of pay per click adverts. The advertiser pays Google every time someone clicks and therefore is generally also going to take you to a site that requires you in turn to pay for the services. After the beige colour comes the general search results. I find that generally the first couple of sites returned are usually cleverly marketed sites that have earned top place with the search engines due to activities involved with marketing etc. In my own experience the most useful results are seldom near the top and in more frequently searched items that return high results, I find that the more useful information that I am looking for can sometimes be on the third page onwards.
In my surfing and going through various blogs, I did however come across some sites that are very interesting. The only problem is that these sites were not easy to find and I more stumbled over them than found them. One totally free site that I did find very interesting was a complete user friendly tutorial that taught you step by step the how to of setting up a online money making empire. The great thing about this site is that from the beginning it assumes that you are a average surfer and not a geek. The site then takes you through the whole process and before you even realise it you are creating websites and starting to fully understand all the computer and internet jargon. Well worth looking at.
