To avoid this happening, simply limit your posting frequency to once every 48 hours. Instead of posting poorly written ads, spend some time and write ads with better sales copy and post them once every 48 hours. By spending a little extra time on your ad copy and less time on posting poorly written ads, you may find that your conversion rates increase and your ads perform better.
For those who are already faced with the issue of needing verified accounts to post, then the tip mentioned above won't be of much use and you will need to try something else. It appears as though that if Craigslist does detect an unusual amount of ads coming from your IP range, the verified account block they place on your IPs is only temporary, as long as you do not continue to over post. Basically, if you find that you need verified accounts to post ads, stop posting immediately and after sometime your IPs should revert back to normal and you can post without verified accounts. This flagging period may be 24 - 48 hours or slightly longer. Regardless of however long it is, take a break from Craigslist for at least 7 days and focus on something else. With some luck, you may find that when you return to post on Craigslist that you can post in the non-services section without verified accounts once again. If this is the case, then it would be strongly advised that you use the first tip of limiting how often you post on Craigslist to try and avoid being faced with requiring verified accounts once again.
Being the world's largest online classified site, Craigslist is a great place for buyers and sellers alike. However, having to use verified accounts can be annoying for many people. The best thing you can do is not over post on Craigslist and avoid being forced to use verified accounts altogether. If you already need verified accounts in order to post, stop using Craigslist for a week and work on something else. With some luck you should find that the need for Craigslist phone verified accounts has gone.
